Population Tax

Costs 20,000 Points. Population Tax will allow you to tax the population within your empire. The tax will be added to your available credits, 1 person will gain you 1 credit per hour

Advanced Power

Costs 25,000 Points. Advanced Power upgrades all your Fusion plants to Advanced Fusion plants, which gives you 100% more power output and storage 150 power per plant.

Advanced Mines

Costs 25,000 Points. Advanced Lithium Mines are larger and more powerful than normal mines, they produce 25% more credits per tick than regular mines.

Big Hammer

Costs 30,000 Points. This research item reduces build time on all buildable ships. It also increases the amount of resources (from 50% to 85%) that return to you after you retire a ship.

Repair Drones

Costs 20,000 Points. Repair Drones are automated robotic repair crews that allow repairs to be completed up to 40% faster.

Advanced Engines

Costs 30,000 Points Advanced engines allow your ships to return faster. Once this research is completed you will need to upgrade your existing ships.

Speed Repair

Requires Repair Drones

Costs 30,000 Points Speed Repair enables one to repair 1 ship at a time. The advantage of this is that it completely repairs a ship to full hull/shields in 1 tick. However, this technology costs Credits, Metal, and Deuterium.

Advanced Buildings

Costs 25,000 Points Reduces buildtime with half, down to 8 ticks.

Cruiser D

Requires Particle Technology

Costs 35,000 Points Allows you to build the Defender ship.

Vulture

Costs 20,000 Points Allows you to build the Vulture class ship.

Particle Technology

Costs 35,000 Points Particle Technology research allows for the use of particle weapons, which allows for the construction of larger and more powerful ships

Plasma Exciter

Requires Particle Technology

Costs 100,000 Points The most powerful weapon technology available. Permits production of the Star Fury class ship.

Fabrication Plants

Costs 15,000 Points Fabrication Plants are used to manufacture "probes" which can be used for various intellegence gathering as well as protect your own empire against foreign scanning attempts.

General Scan

Costs 5,000 Points General Scan is a scan that reports general information about a probed empire; such as their amount of probes, resources, and a list of ships (though the status of those ships remains unknown). It also displays the maximum defence possible for that empire.

Advanced Fabrication Plants

Requires Fabrication Plants

Costs 25,000 Points Upgrades Fabrication Plants to Advanced Fab Plants which increases probe production by 50% (From 1 probe per 2 Fab Plants to 3 probes per 2 Fab Plants).

Fleet Scan

Requires Fabrication Plants

Costs 15,000 Points Fleet Scans show detailed information about a scanned empire's fleet. Information on this scan includes return times, damage to all ships, power core configuration, and ship class among other things.

Buildings Scan

Requires Fabrication Plants

Costs 10,000 Points This scan shows how a probed empire has their buildings allocated.

Stealth Scan

Requires Fabrication Plants

Costs 25,000 Points This scan returns only empire defence and defence percentage (which is rarely used anymore), but however does not show in enemy news if your probes successfully pass.

Probe Loss Reduction

Requires Fabrication Plants

Costs 25,000 Points This research reduces the number of probes lost on all forms of probing attempts by 50%
